Bonjour Carrie et Ron !
Depending on these two cases, you'll either say:
1) Je viens de la Côte de l'Or, en Afrique.
or
2) Je viens de Gold Coast, en Australie. (city)Je viens de la Côte d'Or, en Australie. (region including the city of Gold Coast)

I hope that's helpful!
Bonne journée !

Bonjour Carrie ! The issue here is whether the Gold Coast is a city or a region, as in French it makes a difference. Can you give me more details as to what is the Gold Coast exactly? Merci !

Bonjour Aurélie, Il y a deux «Gold Coast»: 1) The Gold Coast was a British colony on the Gulf of Guinea in west Africa from 1867 to its independence as the nation of Ghana in 1957. 2) The Gold Coast is a city in the Australian state of Queensland, approximately 66 kilometres (41 mi) south-southeast of the state capital Brisbane. Alors, bonne journée.
