Hawaï - sans article
This question relates to:French lesson "Using le, la, l', les with continents, countries & regions names (definite articles)"

Bonjour Jacob,
Indeed, we say ‘Hawaï’ and not ‘la Hawaï’ (as it is a feminine noun).
Here is a lost of others countries that follows the same pattern: Bahreïn, Chypre, Cuba, Djibouti, Haïti, Israël, Kiribati, Madagascar, Malte, Maurice, Monaco, Nauru, Oman, Sainte-Lucie, Saint-Marin, Saint-Vincent-et-les-Grenadines, Sao Tomé-et-Principe, Singapour and Trinité-et-Tobago.
J’aime Hawaï et la Floride = I like Hawaï and Florida
J’adore Monaco et l’Italie = I love Monaco and Italy
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
