Hi Chris,
Technically speaking , ‘personne’ is the opposite of ‘quelqu’un’.
Personne n’est encore arrivé = Nobody has arrived yet
Quelqu'un est déjà arrivé = Someone has arrived already
Hope this helps!

Hello Cécile,
I have a tiny question about your example: "Personne n’est encore arrivé"
I see that "personne" is feminine but the verb "arrivé" is not according with the gender of "personne". Is this how it's supposed to be?
Hi Thy,
Personne is noone/nobody, not the same word as 'une personne'.
Take a look at the following lesson -
Adjectives after personne, rien, tout le monde, quelqu'un are always masculine in French
