My answer of clés was corrected to cléfs. Is that correct?
Also in the phrase: Tu as apporté la monnaie que j'avais mise de côté exprès ?
I can't hear "avais" pronounced, is it just me mishearing?
In what sense is 'une parade' used here - and can you point to a reference for its use please ? I am guessing it may mean 'solution' - but would expect 'trouver une solution' to be used. Alternatively, perhaps it is derived from the verbal expression 'parer à qqc', but if so, I can't find in the many different standard references I have looked at - nor in a search of French slang online - a meaning of the noun '(une) parade' that would fit here.
I don't see why the correct answer would be in the imperfect, since the coming of the tradition is something that has happened and is over with. The imperfect doesn't work. The correct answer should use the passe compose: Cette tradition, qui est venue....>>
Porquoi pas iconique mais emblematique?
1. Can we use des salades mélangées instead of des salades compasées?
2. Can we use glaces instead glaçons? I looked it up on Google translate. Glaçons means ice cubes while glaces means simply ice. Wouldn't it be better to use the more general word ice?
saying "literally - and we completely remade my wardrobe" isn't quite right when you've missed out "together"? I feel like these hints aren't helpful and in fact hinder my progress in the text as they aren't "literal" at all. Plus in that sentence, to say "we bought me a new wardrobe" isn't quite what a native English person would say, they'd simply say "and we bought a new wardrobe (for me).
Hope this can be of use and makes sense from my point of view.

I put in le mien and was marked wrong. i don't see any indication that the speaker is male or female, so why is the answer "la mienne"
Why am I unable to retake the quick, 2 question quiz at the end of a lesson? I have put the lesson in my notebook, gone to my notebook to retake the quiz, but it still says I took the quiz 3 days ago,Go to you notebook not to kwiz this topic as many times as you like.
This is not consistent, but it is also not infrequent. It helps me know that I DI know the material and can move on.
