I've re-read the lesson on when to use "d'autres" and "des autres" and I don't quite understand why "the taste of others" is "le goût des autres". I thought that would only be the case if it was specific other people "the taste of the others", and in the case of this film title it should be "le goût d'autres" - a general case of the taste of unspecified others. What am I missing here please? 

"Entrer" means "to enter" as opposed to "come in," the later being what was directed to translate.  

So  you would say "when andrew and dan enter the bar" ...not "when andrew and dan enter in the bar"

Thinking it's just another "extra word" thing that happens when translating English to French...

The suitable choice of answers in this exercise for translating "new people" was either de nouvelles personnes, or des gens nouveaux. Can nouveau/nouvelle therefore go both before and after the noun? And in every case? I have learnt that gens is an extraordinary "hermaphroditic" word where I believe that adjectives that precede it are generally feminine and adjectives that succeed it are masculine (les bonnes gens, les gens courageux), but I thought that nouveau/nouvelle was an adjective that standardly goes before the noun, so I thought that in this case de nouvelles gens would be the option instead of des gens nouveaux? Thanks.

Does this sentence “Je vais voir avec Julie” means “I’m going to meet Julie?

In this same example in the audio, I am wondering why "... toutes ont disparu" runs the "t" into the "ont", instead of the last letter consonent "s" into the "ont".   I see this on and off but haven't found a lesson on the topic yet.  Merci!

I would like to understand - why in this sentence it is du soir and de soir.
