Hi,

I have looked all over the site, but cannot seem to find where to learn the correct answer for "Ces livres _ nous/These books are ours" - it's very frustrating.

For me, I'd write "Ce sont nos livres" or "Ces livres sont les notres".

Could someone clarify the instance where I'd use "nous" at the end? Or at least direct me to the lessons explaining these instances? 

I've been stuck on Gold A1 for 3 days (99.97%) and it's extremely frustrating to continuously have these setbacks. All I want is my diamond badge so I can move on to A2.

Hi there Aurellie, I am just a bit confused about some aspects of this website. I love the way Laura teaches, but this is just really a bit of feedback which you have asked for in the past: I have lived in French speaking Switzerland for fifteen winter seasons...teaching in French, have done a primary school teacher qualification specialising in French and have passed some quite advanced grammer levels within this website system, yet it still baffles me by directing me from time time to quite a low level...for instance, how to say your name...? I can't see that I can have possibly got only 33% in this at any point...is it some kind of tactic of the website it wonder...? or just some kind of shortcoming...? ah well, just thought I'd mention it for feedback in case of the latter.

Is it correct to use "que/qui" as qui is either followed by a verb or a reflexive pronoun. And que is followed by a noun or subject pronoun.

Here nous is a subject pronoun,then why 'qui' is used?

The subject text was part of a recent pronouns exercise.

As I understand it the use of the imperative voice was being tested and I wrote "évitons-les" which was incorrect and the correct answer was "évitons-leur" .

I don't understand this because the verb éviter is transitive not intransitive?

I would like to understand why the correct answer is not évitons-les?

It looks like sometimes you use the partitive article 'des' even when referring to general things, for example:

Le vin blanc me donne des maux de tête.

or the following sentence from an exercise: 'J'étudierais un sujet qui me plaît, en rencontrant des gens intéressants

Can someone explain this please?
