Faire I'm having new sandals made.HINT: to make new sandals = faire de nouvelles sandales

Nothing in the lesson suggests "faire" is reflexive.

Ergo: Why is "je me fais faire de nouvelles sandales" correct, in lieu of "je fais faire de nouvelles sandales." ???

Reviewing the writing challengeWhen a writing challenge has been completed and submitted, a score is then given. There are also links to grammar lessons explaining some of the answers. However, I would like to be able to review the completed test, i.e. the questions and my answers, and I might want occasionally to print out the questions, my answers, and the correct answers. My internet browser doesn't seem to "capture" this in history: it only provides opportunity to re-do the test.

C'est AND Il/Elle est can both be correct in some situations?

In this weeks Weekend Workout 28-09-2018 'Mrs Durand's Menagerie' we are asked to translate:

'Mrs Durand lives in the countryside, its perfect for animals.'

There are two correct answers given for 'its perfect for animals':

C'est parfait pour les animaux! AND Elle est parfaite pour les animaux!

The lesson, however, shows how to choose between the use of C'est and the use of 'Il/Elle est' ... implying that only one of these two options is correct in any given situation.

Could you please explain why both options are correct in this particular instance.
