Still no indirect speech (voix indirecte)It's great that I am taught the conjugation of the verb "moudre" and "coudre", yet there's still no lesson on reported/indirect speech. In my opinion that is a big omission since that one comes up much more frequently in all kinds of situations than I will ever use the verb moudre. I would really appreciate a series of lessons on that topic. Greetings, -- Chris.

Again, One of your examples under the heading -

la moitié de [quelque chose] = half -the- [something]

was “Il ne mange qu'une moitié du biscuit.”

Can you clarify, then, why response “Tu as bu une moitié de la bouteille.” was marked incorrect and the suggested correct response was “la moitié de” ?

Translation of the English word "efficient" in FrenchI noticed that "efficient" gets translated in French as "efficace".
However, "efficient" and "effective" have two very different meanings. Google Translate is equally mixing things up, but the French word "efficient" does seem to exist.

Is French less specific in these two words, or is it a misunderstanding of the difference at / error by KwizIQ?

Why the article "le" before "on" in "Et l'on entend la même chanson, oh !"?Obviously, my question is not related to the current subject. However, since the sentence is used in this lesson, I figured it would be ok to present it here. In any case, I have yet to run into this construction in my lessons. Can someone point me in the right direction perhaps? Thank you.
