I have been taught that lui refers to both male and female but in the exercise they are conceptualized differently.
comme j'aime les chats, j'ai particulièrement apprécié cet exercice. au moment où j'écris, mon chat dort au soleil sur son lit, où elle restera jusqu'à ce qu'elle ait faim ou qu'elle veuille être caressée :)

"Il est bon", refers to the actor or the film? If it is the film, shouldn't it be "c'et bon"?

I was going to choose the right answer when I second guessed myself because of the "de". How would you say "I'm watching from beautiful hills"? What would "Je regarde à les belles collines" translate into, or is this sentence completely incorrect?
THe subjunctive form is "nous ne detestions pas" yet in your exercise you have "nous ne detestons pas" ??
