sorry if this is a stupid question but why isn't visiter written in the infinitive form after a conjugated verb (rendre) 

Can you have "je courrai sur le tapis roulant pour une demie heure" because its the future tense?

Isn't it odd to say she has French à trois heures (which is in the middle of the night?)  Would it not be be more reasonable to say à très heures de l'après-midi or à treize heures? 

Correct: Il est allé visiter une maison.

Incorrect: Il est allé à visiter une maison.

I'm sure the speaker says "charger" and not "changer" in this exercise. I understand that "charger" wouldn't make sense in the context but it is still off putting when doing the exercise and trying to faithfully write what is being said

Can someone explain why I answered this incorrectly?  I answered "nous sommes brossés" and it told me that the correct answer is "nous sommes brossé".  The rule quite clearly states that the past participle should be modified to agree in number and gender though.  We is inherently plural, so shouldn't an "s" be added to the end?  Or am I missing something here?

Could anyone explain the use of 'nous' in the second example but not in the first. I would see the constructions as similar.

Is the use of 'nous' in these cases optional?

HI I'm in grade 10 learning french, We have a test on Metaphor and Irony and you need to identify whether Irony was used or metaphor was used. My question is as my first langues is English's how can identify whether metaphor was used or irony was used in french!!!!!(Like key words or how the sentence flows)

Yes, for introducing me to some new expressions, i.e. "tu n'as pas l'air dans ton assiette", "j'ai du mal à fermer l'œil" and "de fester de marbre".  Now, to try to use them!
