Au cours des années, elle m'a transmis sa passion - why is passé composé used? She clearly says 'over the years' so a repeated action? surely the imparfait would be used here?
In the listening exercise: Choisir ses études (A2), shouldnt the adjective fascinant be feminine given its referent 'La Psychologie'?
The text in question.
Je vais étudier la Psychologie parce que je trouve ça fascinant.
Please advise. THanks

To be sure, a romantic image ! I had a little problem with the female voice , which is normal for me because of loss of hearing in the higher frequencies. That is not a complaint. Today, I decided to listen again after completing the exercise, this time without translating in my head. It was slow enough that I could do that with ease. It seemed like a breakthrough! I think I will continue with this approach.
Maintenant or désormais? Also I keep making a mistake with prepositions please let me know I put “couvert de la sueur”.
I can’t figure out when to make cent plural when writing dates. I see it is plural in 1900 but not in most other dates.
Are there translations (French into English) available for the listening/dictation exercises? Where would I find them? I use this to test/practice my listen comprehension as well.
Why is “You remind him of Audrey Hepburn." ? Translated into “Tu lui rappelles Audrey Hepburn.”
Isn’t it missing an “à” as per lesson guidelines? Shouldn’t it be “Tu rappelles Audrey Hepburn à lui”?
I keep getting this wrong because I choose the wrong answer "What is it that it is" because in the lesson for "What is it" it offers
"Literally "what is it that it is?", it is pronounced [kess kuh say]."
but the correct answer according to the test is "What is it".
Why is the literal meaning not correct? If I had my way the literal answer wouldn't be listed.
Hi I'm Christa. Bonjour, je m'appelle Christa. Is this the right way to say specifically where I live?
