How do you tell whether vous is singular or plural ?

An example gave "vous vous etes bien amuses?"

Whereas the correct answer in the quick Test was "Vous vous etes cache"

Vous me ré pelez de sortir la poubelle is in the present. In English remind is only used in the past or future. For example remind me to take out thebin or you reminded me to take out the bin. There is no present tense. How does this work in french?

Can the verb following "depuis que" be in the present tense? All examples are in passe composé, but you say "depuis que" is followed by the indicative. Could this be the indicative present?
