Position of tout in "Elle a tout compris""She understood everything." has "tout" after "a" as the correct answer in the test. But "she understood something." is "Elle a compris quelque chose." ... at least I think that is correct. Why?

Tarte aux pommesIs this considered another « fixed » expression used to describe food. Just curious because as « pommes » is feminine and plural one would normally say « tarte à les pommes » . Are there other similar exceptions?

"belle" after of before noun?

I was taking a test and I saw the following statement:

"une fillette belle comme une fleur"

I tought it is wrong but it was marked as correct. Shouldn't "belle" come before "fillette"? like this sentecne?

"une belle fillette comme une fleur"
