Why do the examples in this lesson include the sentence, "Vive le vent, vive le vent"? How does this illustrate the subjontif?

‘Vive La France’ is probably the common example of this use of the subjunctive ...

It should be ‘Que vive la France’ ( long live France ) which denotes a wish...

"Vive" is the subjonctif.
