In the example you give , it is always:

On verra

Nous verrons

and will mean the same thing.

Hi David,

actually, no. On always uses 3rd person singular for the verb. Therefore there can sometimes be an apparent mismatch between verb and participle:

On s'est rencontrés hier. -- We met yesterday.

But in one lesson dealing with "on" there were various examples when one used the third person singular or the first person plural. This question as I remember that past lesson indicated that the first person plural should be used in such an instance as this
