when would you use je pris and when would you use je prends?
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate prendre and derivatives in Le Présent (present tense)"
oh wait, I think it's when you use past tense- like j'ai pris, right?
Yes, pris is the past participle of the verb prendre. It is, e.g., used when constructing passé composé. Prends is first person singular present tense indicative mood.
