vu vs regardé

for the translation, Yes we've seen them (films) I had "Oui, nous les avons vus" and it was marked incorrect while "nous les avons regardés" was the correct answer. Shouldn't either response be correct?

Voir means "to see", whereas regarder means "to watch" :)
