Vivre - to inhabit

This is a trick, isn't it. That 'to inhabit' is a synonym for 'to live in' in English is exploited here. Damn you.

Indeed, I do see how we made it "extra" confusing :)
I decided to change the "inhabit" option to remove the ambiguity there, as this isn't even the point of the lesson ;)

Hi Chris,

I understand your frustration, but not sure that it is appropriate on the language forum.

Have a look here:-

https://www.cnrtl.fr/synonymie/habiter/verbe.     Select synonyms for both habiter and vivre

and assess the relative "strength" of each against the synonym(s) shown  -- this will help you to understand more completely the nuance between the two verbs.
