why not use "exiger" for require, demand.  ça demand = ça exige ?

Hi Richard,

The verb exiger is to demand and is very strong in French.

You are given three possibilities -

ça nécessite

ça demande

ça requiert

I know that exiger is sometimes translated as to require but I think it is too strong here.
