Use of duquel
Le garçon à côté de qui tu es assise a de beaux yeux.The boy (whom) you're sitting next to has beautiful eyes.Why in the above sentene is tu es assise used and not tu assieds?

tu t'assieds
as s'asseoir is reflexive.

tu t'es assise suggests that the person doing the sitting down is a female, otherwise the conjugation would be tu t'es assis.
