So your question is why the last sentence is "Faison de notre mieux!"?
As pointed out in the HINT "faire de son mieux" is a fix phrase that means "do one's best".
What is maybe an interesting comment from Le Bon Usage H6 988 "Faire de son mieux est bien attesté chez les classiques; antérieurement, on disait plutôt faire son mieux.
