'une lecture analytique des œuvres'
Asked 4 years ago

Hi Tom,
The sentence is -
Zola recommande une lecture analytique des œuvres qui s'inspirent des méthodes scientifiques =
Zola recommends an analytic reading of the works which take their inspiration from scientific methods
and not
of works = d'œuvres
so it is pretty specific, that's all.
Bonne Continuation!
