We accept both -
Je trouve Halloween surfait
Je trouve qu'Halloween est surfait
for-
I find Haloween overrated.
as it is two similar ways of saying the same thing.
Je trouve Nicolas très intéressant = I find Nicolas very interesting
Je trouve que Nicolas est très intéressant = I think that Nicolas is very interesting

This sentence is incorrect. Are you attempting to say: Je trouve que Halloween est surfait ?
The subjunctive would only be appropriate if you said this in the negative:
Je ne trouve pas que Halloween soit surfait.
