Le nouveau James Bond est sorti la semaine dernière.The new James Bond was released last week.
On peut aussi exprimer la même chose ("...was released last week") avec la voix passive ?: "Le nouveau James Bond a été sorti semaine dernière"

Bonjour Shoji,

Maarten is correct although "Le nouveau James Bond a été sorti la semaine dernière par ..." does sound very strange to French ears.

You would definitely say:

Le nouveau James Bond est sorti la semaine dernière

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Shoji, no, not as a stand alone sentence.

Although the initial sentence is quite reasonably translated to the standard English expression ‘was released’, it is akin to the colloquial English ‘came/went/(was) out….’ - an active statement.

Passive voice requires ‘par …’ to explain who/what released the film, so you would need to expand the sentence with these details in passive voice.
