The question is what is the translation of "Tout le monde est parti ensemble"? The answer given is "Everyone left together" but " Everyone left at the same time"means more or less the same thing

Hi William,
I see your point but they are describing two different ways of looking at this.
For 'at the same time', you would say -
"Tout le monde est parti en même temps (or à la même heure)".
which is not quite the same as together ...
