Hi PJ,

You are confusing the noun 'travail' which is masculine as in -

J'arrive au travail = I arrive at work

and the verb 'travailler' which has no gender it is just the way it is conjugated:

Je travaille

Tu travailles

Elle/il/on travaille

etc.

Take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson on how to conjugate regular verbs ending in 'er' like travailler-

https://kwiziq.learnfrenchwithalexa.com/revision/grammar/conjugate-regular-er-verbs-in-le-present-present-tense

Hope this helps!
