I don't understand why my answer regrossons, to putting weight back on in the present tense was incorrect? According to the conjugation the answer was regrossissons? 🥴

The stem of the verb regrossir is regross- (obtained by chopping off the ending -ir). For the nous form in the present indicative, you add -issons to the stem. Therefore, just as finir gives rise to nous finissons, and choisir to nous choisissons, regrossir gives nous regrossissons.
