Re answer to the question I missed on test 2

I conjugated Elles font and was told that Elles fait is correct. I don't think think that is true. Could you please examine that question and explain the answer to me?

This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate faire in the present tense in French (Le Présent)"

Hi Kate,

The only two Kwiz questions I found with elle/elles were -

Elle fait ses devoirs

Elles font le maximum

And both are correct.

You are correct, it is elles font. But there could be some misinterpretation in that elles may not be the true subject of the sentence. Therefore it would be best if you could post the entire sentence.
