Preposition 'Pour' (for) with Indirect Object Pronouns
Bonjour Aashpreet,
The above link, found from a simple search for previous questions; may augment your understanding of the usage of the preposition pour.
Hope this will be helpful.
Bonne continuation
Jim
This is not what I am asking Jim! You have cited a completely unrelated response.
- Je lui écris une lettre. - Ecrire à - Here, Indirect Object Pronoun - 'lui' is introduced by the preposition à.
- Je leur ai parlé hier. - Parler à - Here too, the Indirect Object Pronoun - 'leur' is introduced by the preposition à.
Now, the Kwiziq link in my question says that - an Indirect Object Pronoun can also be introduced by the preposition 'pour'! (exact line from the link cited below) I have requested some examples for this scenario!! Please share. :-)
Citation - "An indirect object pronoun usually replaces people (or other living things) that are introduced after the verb with a preposition (usually à or pour)."
