Nous vs On

I don't understand the difference. What is wrong with saying Nous and not On?

Nothing's wrong with using nous. Nous is more formal than on. Particularly in spoken, colloquial French you will mostly hear on instead of nous.

Furthermore, on is used for the impersonal "we".
