Moins bien/plus bien
This question relates to:French lesson "Meilleur, mieux, pire / plus mauvais, plus mal = better, best, worse and worst in French (irregular comparatives and superlatives)"

Hi Elijah,
On their own, they can sound really wrong but you will use them in the following examples -
for 'plus' in the sense of 'ne plus' ( no longer) -
Je ne me souviens plus bien d'elle = I don't remember her well
for 'moins' -
Nous sommes généralement moins bien payés = We are generally less well paid
Certains pays se développent moins bien que d'autres = Certain countries develop less well than others
In a positive sense plus bien will always be mieux otherwise, it sounds like 'more well' in French which is as bad in English -
Les armoires de Marie sont mieux que celles de Martin = Marie's wardrobes are better than Martin's
Hope this helps!
