Le primeur a des melons magnifiques.

From google translate 'Le primeur a des melons magnifiques.' is 'The scoop has magnificent melons'

I have no idea what it is suppose to mean. Translation please.

Hi Catherine,

Le primeur, in the context of a market,  is the same as 'le marchand de fruits et légumes', and is easier to say.

Not necessarily always better but in this case DeepL translates «le primeur» to 'the greengrocer', but also incorrectly as 'the scoop' (an exclusive/first to get new news - not a physical scoop).  «La primeur» is the scoop - Google is also wrong and gives the same translation of 'scoop' for both.

Another one for the list of nouns that change meaning with noun gender.

Google definitely looses in comparison to DeepL
