How do you translate “le coup de venir” and “On peut se faire goûter”?

Would the sentence “j’en ai déjà l’eau à la bouche!” make sense without using it?”

All these are idiomatic expressions.

1. The full expression is

valoir le coup de venir = to be worth (us) coming/ the effort/visiting

In the text as -

Ça valait vraiment le coup de venir = It was really worth us coming

2. en avoir déjà l'eau à la bouche = to be salivating ( just thinking about it)

3. se faire goûter = to taste each other's food choices
