I am assuming that one would say "cent vingt et un" for one hundred twenty-one? Keeping the "et" between vingt and un.
Keeping the "et" in higher numbers (vingt et un)

Keeping the "et" in higher numbers (vingt et un)
This question relates to:French lesson "twenty-one"

Hi Lisa,
Yes, it would be
cinq-cent-vingt et un = 521
From memory the only numbers you don't use the 'et' for are 81 and 91 -
quatre-vingt-un = 81
cent-quatre-vingt-un = 181
quatre-vingt-onze = 91
deux-cent-quatre-vingt-onze = 291
Hope this helps!
