Is the sentence correct...Aujourd'hui, elle part en voyage à la plage.

Hi Babit, 

Partir en voyage is to travel/ to set off on a long journey somewhere 

so you might use it to say -

Elle part en voyage seule cette année = She is travelling on her own this year 

but you wouldn't use 'to (simply )go' to the beach -

elle va à la plage aujourd'hui
