If I have understood your question correctly you want to know when to use -

aller + infinitive = I am going to do something

and aller in the proper future

I will/shall go J'irai

Take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson on how to conjugate the aller in the future .

Conjugate aller in the future tense in French (Le Futur Simple)

The near future is used for things that are about to happen or when you say you are going to do something like :

I am going dancing tonight  = Je vais danser ce soir

or even

I am going to go dancing tonight Je vais aller danser ce soir
I am going to go to France next week = Je vais aller en France la semaine prochaine

Hope this helps!
