Does the past particle not get a "s" when using with direct object pronoun
Nous n'aurions pas dû l'écouter. --> Nous n'aurions pas dûs l'ecouter ?
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate devoir in the conditional past in French = should have (Le Conditionnel Passé)"

Écouter doesn't need a preposition, it takes a direct object. The explanation why not dûs is that nous is the subject and doesn't determine the form of the participle. It is the direct object which could potentially change dû to dûe/dûs/dûes if it precedes the participle. But this isn't the case here.

Bonjour deepa,
Céline's post will be of interest to you here: :-

But in this case, the verb écouter needs a preposition (to), so no direct object appears before avoir, which I suspect you are querying. Therefore there is no concordance with the past participle.
Bonne continuation
Jim
