Hi Stephen,

The colloquial expression is "Ça ne fait rien"  --> It's nothing / No problem / It doesn't matter.

Hi, why is "ça m'est égal" not accepted ?

JimC1 Kwiziq Q&A super contributor

Hi Christophe,

The point is that "ça m'est égal" is not the same as "ça ne fait rien"

"ça m'est égal" means "it's all the same to me" --> "It/that is to me equal" strictly speaking.

Hope this explains for you.

Jim
