Causative faire

Causative faire

If a sentence says "Elle a fait cueillir des fleurs.", then to turn des fleurs into a pronoun object I would normally use "en". Is it correct to say, "Elle en a fait cueillir." She had some picked. Or should it be "Elle les a fait cueillir." I have never seen an example of causative faire with "en", so not sure if it is correct.

Hi Carolyn,

Maybe some better examples -

Elle lui a fait cueillir des fleurs ------> Elle lui en a fait cueillir

She made him/her pick some flowers -----> She made him/her pick some

Elle lui a fait cueillir les fleurs pour la réception -----> Elle les lui a fait cueillir

She made him/her pick the flowers for the reception ----> She made him/her pick them

Hope this helps!
