The clue in the vocabulary list also was in plural « les prix du marché » and the context seems to be of talking about the prices of apartments that meet Adrien's requirements, rather than the market price of apartments in general. But, yes, 'le prix du marché' is also used and turns up frequently in, for example, reverso search etc of French usage.

I haven't done the exercise, but looking at the text intro. it seems to be suggesting "The prices in the (or of the) market" so I suggest plural.
