why is the adjective here after the noun?

J'habiterais dans une villa gigantesque -  I thought "size" went before a noun

The adjective 'gigantesque' can go before or after the noun, like 'formidable', 'extraordinaire''superbe' etc.

It could mean "extraordinaire" regarding the villa, but there are many examples of this adjective appearing after the noun  --  see the link above.
