There are the rare states that offer a high school diploma with extra certification contingent upon an examination.

There are schools in the US that offer International Bacculaureate (IB). They tend to be elite private schools so the average American isn't familar with them.
AB classes/credits are also similar to A-levels. AB classes are voluntary, you can go to uni without taking them and you don't get a specific diploma or certificate. However, like AB classes, you're given advanced credit at US universities for A-levels.
