'When it's not cold I sleep outside'. Dehors is suggested before it comes up in the English so if one adds it to the translation prior to it appearing, it becomes an error. The suggestion needs to come after 'when it's not cold'.
In the song "Tu vas me détruire", we have the sentence "Lentement, je m'y noierai, sans qu'un remord ne me vienne". It seems to me this violates the rule that ne explétif is not used when the main tense is not used with negation.
I didn't understand one of the hints in this exercise: "Iklnk"(I think)
Hello everyone one, there is little thing I can’t able to understand that is why before « quand » we are not using the preposition « à » when the expression have fixed- faire du mal à. After « mal » there should be a preposition. But in that sentence there is not. Why is it. Thank’s in advance.
One thing I had a problem with in this dictation was the reference to 'tu'. Who's she talking to? If this was made clearer in the intro or title, it might help a bit?
Am I missing something? Why are there no "practice" exercises? My style of learning involves some practice of the chosen subject - sometimes LOTS of practice. As far as I can tell, you provide no practice exercises. I often have to search my other French books for appropriate practice.
