In the expression "une vraie histoire," is there any implication that the elaborate story is untrue? In English, "quite a story" can suggest that the audience might doubt the truth of the story. Is there any of that implied in French?

surely fatiqué is conjugated with avoir and not être. Yet the answer to the question I have posted below uses soyez and not avoir2Je vais vous ramener chez vous avant select ...que vous n'êtesque vous ne soyezvous êtesvous soyezselect ... trop fatigués. (I'm going to bring you home before you're too tired.)

Is this grammar right? (imparfait tense)For an assessment, we have to recount events of what we did with a friend in imperfect tense (l'imparfait). I have this sentence here which I am not sure of the grammar. Nous partageons nos problèmes et aidions les uns et autres. (we shared our problems and helped each other) Am confused.

Bonjour!

in the example “ça ne sent pas la rose là-dedans” is translated as “it smells nasty in here”. Formerly I had understood “là-dedans” to mean in there. Is it both or am I just wrong. Sorry, I know this is getting off on a bit of a bunny trail...

Noun inside the negation?In one of the questions on an exam, the correct answer was "Il ne voit Julie nulle part". Why is Julie included in between "ne" and "nulle part" while a sentence like "Il ne voit pas Julie" has Julie outside of the negation?
