Futur proche

French Near Future

Le futur proche is used to express actions that are going to happen in the near future.

In English, the near future is composed of ''to be going to'' + verb, while in French le futur proche uses aller + infinitive.

For example

On va faire quoi, demain?
What are we going to do tomorrow?
