"Je veux rien" marked as incorrect on the test.

I understand it's not the strictly proper, dictionary-perfect way to say that, but it's valid and there was no indication in the way the question was phrased that it was specifically the ne construction I was expected to use -- and nothing else.

What would be the difference between “I smell nothing” and I feel nothing”. I thought to feel in this case might require a reflexive construction?

I have a question relating the position of the words.

1. There's an example with ne ... jamais rien = never ... anything : "Il n'a jamais rien fait" --> is this correct or should it be "Il n'a jamais fait rien" ?

2. Now with ne ... rien du tout = anything at all, I found this expression on deepL and I don't know if it's correct or how to position the words. For example, I want to say: "She didn't say anything at all". Should it be:

   a) Elle n'a rien dit du tout

   b) Elle n'a rien du tout dit

More examples would be very much appreciated.

Is the following sentence correct?

Je ne comprends  rien.

 Sounds strange to me.

Can one say Nothing at all...rien de tout?

For one of the kwiz questions it asked what the translation of "we don't see anything" is. I answered "Nous ne voyons rien" but the correct answer is "Nous ne voyons personne". Was my answer wrong? I thought the second sentence would mean "we don't see anyone"

For the question, Je sens quelque chose, et toi ? - Non, je  ..., can I also say 'No, je ne sens pas du tout? ' What are differences between ne...rien and pas du tout? Thanks.
