Bonjour,
I was wondering why "pas" isnt used in "ça ne fait rien", as usually to express a negative you'd have to use "ne ... pas". Is "pas" something that has been dropped in the expression over time? And are there other expressions which also use "ne" without the "pas"?
Thanks!
I struggle to understand why this means "I forgot to bring you your glasses!"
I thought the word used to express "bring" should have been "apporter" not "rapporter"
In one of the test the question is:
"Désolé, j'ai oublié mon argent. - Oh, ________." Sorry, I forgot my money. -Oh, it's not a problem.
The correct answer given was «Ça ne fait rien.»
Why couldn't i say "Ce n'est pas un problème" ?
