Bonjour Katherine,

Chris is correct! You can find everything on y and en as adverbial pronouns here:

Pronom adverbial

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Y and en are used all over the place in French. In short: y replaces an object introduced by à and en one introduced by de. In the absence of a more concrete question, I suggest you read through the kwiziq lessons library where you'll find quite a few lessons on this topic.
