Bonjour Nicola,

You can use 'du / de la / des' with 'envie de' if you wish to be specifict. 

J'ai envie de chocolat = I want chocolate -> general / unspecific 

J'ai envie du chocolat que tu as acheté ce matin = I want the chocolate that you bought this morning -> specific
