What is the difference between parce que and car?
Can they be used interchangeably, or is there some rule for when to use one or the other?
This question relates to:French lesson "because"

Bonjour Emily !
Literally "parce que" = because and "car" = for, and just like in English, "car" will therefore be considered as more elegant, but the meaning is the same :)
Bonne journée !

Parce que can be used at beginning of a sentence. Not so for car which introduces a subordinate clause I believe?
